While Halo Infinite is intended to be a spiritual reboot of the franchise, Atriox and Escharum are known quantities in the existing Halo lore. On the surface level, there's not much to the teaser. I feel that this is very likely, as well as the Floods’ returndue to the events that took place in “Awakening the Nightmare” in HW2. The Hand of Atriox is an organisation within the Banished, named after its leader Atriox. Big purple / black ball appears, and waves of strange, red and gray banshees and blisterbacks rain down, destroying everything they see. Having Atriox fight the chief would be super cool. I would honestly be shocked if the banished didn't make some sort of appearance. "The warriors who will follow me will do so because they know me. They were unique and had amazing vehicles and troops like just look awesome. Halo Infinite takes place on Installation 07 also known as the Zeta Halo ring, and it seems that Escharum is the leader of the Banished forces there.
