A thing about Rose’ pregnancy. The whole shot doesn’t show anything like a pregnancy test. Learn how your comment data is processed. but i can guarantee you that 99.9% of the population is not gonna be that scared from this movie. In the movie is then unveiled that Kat has killed Rose and the two nuns who looked after them in the Catholic school; whereas Joan (aka Kat, 9 years later) has butchered Rose’s parents after they helped her going back to the old school – being, obviously, unaware about who she was. In this case, though, i think its perfectly reasonable to give it some attention. However, when she’s talking on the phone to her dad at around 00:13:26, we never hear his voice answering. What, I ask you, could be more horrifying?

Osgood Perkins stated in an interview that February / The Blackcoat’s Daughter deals with grief and loss, so there are signs for them being dead and signs for them being not. I thought it was great too.
Based on the Newbery-winning children's books, this animated film follows a young boy who runs away to an island to rescue and befriend a baby dragon. TV series review, DNR: Marc Duplass’ narcissism is caring a dead movie around. Totally fake. No hair anywhere. I shall have a go! This movie, while not perfect, is indeed one of the better ones I have seen for some time.
She became more unkempt and dismissive of her own appearance as the possession intensified. The entity that possessed her was clearly happy he would not be there to muddle up its plans. I am a huge horror/thriller aficionado, and have been for my whole (long) life. Hyping up a slow burn movie has its ups and downs. Just a red herring for the viewer? I’d be happy if others who liked this movie as much as me would also like to dive into the details and share their thoughts. I don't know about there not being a physical manifestation, but if Rose had seen it, she would have reacted. Besides, she was just overdue for four days, as she told her room mate at 00:07:41. Might have pretended the whole thing, so it’s still ambiguous, though.
There were like 90 seconds total that were scary to me. When their parents fail to pick them up for winter break, two students stay on at an all-girls boarding school in the company of a terrible presence. The least ‘rapey’ and ‘revengey’ rape and revenge movie of all time! Luckily, it resonated with the things I find scary the most. With his two friends, a video-game-obsessed young man finds himself in a strange version of Tokyo where they must compete in dangerous games to survive. Just finished watching this. Her failure, at the very end of this amazing dark tale, only enhances the despair and conveys a truly disturbing, depressing feeling to the audience. Is this a perfect movie? She walked in on them one night … worshipping the Devil. LOVED this movie!
Towards the beginning of the film, Kat is left in the school over the winter holidays by her parents, thus she becomes an easy target for the devil, which uses the girl’s void to meander into her. I can definitely see how this movie was received on the other end of the spectrum. It did seem like her parents were on the way, but were mysteriously detained - whereas Rose deliberately delayed her family's arrival.
However, when the evil entity abandons her in consequence of an exorcism, after she killed three people, Kat/Joan is desperately in search of something that could fill the void in her soul, which is apparently the reason why she kills Rose’s parents many years after the events that occurred in the school. He said on the day they shot the piano scene, she showed up and the hair & makeup artist did the intricate braid. I’ve watched the movie several times and the only scene that comes close to this is when Rose comes back from the date with her boyfriend, looks for Katherine in her empty room and then uses the toilet. It just sounded like someone trying to leave a very long message.

You know they have no hair on their bodies? Stop the hype. I got an instant weird vibe about the dynamic between her and her father if that dream had any truth to it. The Wiki plot subpage says: “She goes to the bathroom and takes a pregnancy test which she hides in the stall.” Is this from an earlier cut?
